Call if the site gets in your way
Calling (870) 706-2240 reaches Dylan, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He can take your information or answer your questions by phone, so you never have to use the site at all.
Call Dylan 24/7Our goal
ASAP Crawlspace of Mountain Home aims for this website to work for people with low vision, people with hearing loss, people with limited use of their hands, people who use screen readers, and older readers who want clear, large text.
Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines from the W3C. It is a target we're working toward, not a certification. No outside group has certified this site.
What's built into these pages
- Large text. Page text is set at 18 pixels. Only small labels, such as the "Open 24/7" note under the phone number, run smaller.
- Strong contrast. Text is dark navy or near-black on white, or white on navy. Red appears as a button background with white text on it.
- Keyboard use. Every link and button works with the Tab and Enter keys. A thick outline shows where you are on the page.
- A skip link. The first stop for a keyboard is "Skip to content," which jumps past the menu.
- Text for every photo. Each photo has a text description for screen readers.
- Headings in order. Each page has one main heading, then sections in order, so a screen reader can move from section to section.
- Large tap targets. Buttons are at least 48 pixels tall, so they're easy to hit on a phone.
- Small, gentle motion. Some sections fade in as you scroll, and one background pattern turns very slowly. Nothing flashes or blinks.
- Tap to call. Every phone number is a link. On a phone, tapping it starts the call.
One known limit: the map
The map in the footer is an embedded Google Map. Google builds and controls it, so it may not meet every accessibility standard. It shows Mountain Home, AR 72653 only. The same information is in text on every page, and you can call for anything the map would tell you.
The easiest way to get help is the phone
Call (870) 706-2240 and you'll reach Dylan, any hour. He can read you what's on a page, answer questions about a service, or take your details for a free inspection within 50 miles of Mountain Home. If you'd rather write, the email is [email protected].
How to report a barrier
If a page, a button, or a photo is hard to use, tell us by phone or by email. Say which page you were on and what got in the way. If you can, add the device or assistive tool you use, such as a screen reader or a magnifier. That helps us find the problem faster.
We'll look into every report and fix what we can.
